After wandering for a couple of hours on our first night in Ko Tao looking for food we found the Yin Yang restaurant. This fairly low key place offers popular Thai dishes and a range of fresh teas, fruit shakes and beers. It quickly became our favourite place on the island because of its delicious food and laid back nature – as well as its resident cat.
The food generally costs about 70thb for a starter and 110thn for a main. After going through a few different dishes we settled on the garlic black pepper pork as a form favourite, with the spring rolls coming in second place!
The quality is absolutely fantastic and the staff are lovely! If you ever find yourself on the island I whole heartedly recommend it!
This post is part of the monthly link up party Our Growing Edge. This event aims to connect food bloggers and inspire us to try new things. This month is hosted by Sophie at Cooking Trips.
I’ve been to Ko Tao a couple of times and I love how relaxed it is.
This post would make a great addition to Our Growing Edge, a monthly blog link up just for new food adventures. It’s a fun way to share your new food experiences with other foodies. This month’s theme is TRAVEL which includes any recipe or food experience inspired by travel.
