Diving in Bali, the USS Liberty

Since gaining our PADI advanced open water advanced open water certifications we have been keen to dive in as many places as possible! One of our favourite locations so far has been the USS Liberty just off Bali, a WW2 battleship sunk by a Japanese torpedo the Liberty has sat at the bottom of the ocean for over 70 years gathering rust, coral, fish and divers. It was one of the most impressive dove sights we have been in so far and was our first shore entry dive. We had two tanks to explore the ship so on our first dive looked around the outside of the wreck, then on our second we went inside the crumbling hull, which provided some spectacular views!
